BDP’s Manchester studio won the Lighting for Leisure Category at this year’s Lighting Design Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the lighting industry, at the London Hilton recently. BDP’s Manchester lighting designers beat off stiff competition to take the top prize for The Point, the new 1,000-seat conference and banqueting venue at Lancashire County Cricket Club.

Dinner set up The Point

The new £12 million conference and events venue, The Point at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, is set to battle it out for a major honour after being included on the shortlist of the 2011 RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) North West Awards.
