Key 103 Summer Ball held at The Point
The first ever Key 103 Summer Ball’ was held at the Lancashire County cricket club. Manchester’s party of the summer was held in ‘The Point’ – our amazing new £12M venue on Sunday July 25th.
As promised the sold out event was an exciting, celebrity, star packed evening , hosted by Key 103’s Mike and Chelsea. This star studded spectacular starts at 7pm with a fabulous three course dinner followed by performances from some of the biggest names in music, Scouting for Girls – Alexandra Burke – Alesha Dixon – Pixie Lott – The Saturdays – Craig David – Beverley Knight – Gabriella Cilmi – Eliza Doolittle plus many more with the whole evening being broadcast live across the North West on Key 103.
This event gave The Point a great opportunity to show its true potential with a sit down meal for 840 people along with the main stage for the performances. The evening was also beneficial for Key 103’s Cash for Kids Francis House appeal with £13,000 being raised on the night.
Commenting on the night, key 103’s Station Director Gary Stein says
“We held our Jingle Ball here in December in the marquee as The Point was still under construction. We were so impressed with the way in which everything was handled and managed that we had no hesitation in deciding to use the new facility for our very first Summer Ball.”
Gary adds:
“The suite looked absolutely stunning and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who worked tirelessly throughout. The night was a great success, I would like to say thank you to our guests for digging deep into their pockets, and raising the amount they did for Cash for Kids Francis House appeal.”
